The Light Tower Alarm System provides a bright red LED light and horn that energize if a Thermco gas analyzer goes into alarm condition. During normal operation the light is green.
The Thermco gas analyzer may be built into a Thermco gas mixer or be a stand-alone gas analyzer.
The model 11200 is designed to be mounted remotely from the gas mixer or gas analyzer.

Application

The Light Tower Alarm System is designed to be used with any of Thermco’s stationary, digital gas analyzers designed with horn silence circuitry. This includes gas analyzers built into a Thermco gas mixer as well as stand-alone digital gas analyzers. The Light Tower Alarm System will signal both normal operating and alarm conditions. The Light Tower Alarm System is not suitable for environments containing flammable or corrosive gases: or for use in medical applications or services associated with life support.

How Alarms Operate

The Light Tower Alarm System is designed to work in conjunction with the alarm set points as set on one of Thermco’s stationary, digital gas analyzers. During normal operation of the Light Tower Alarm System, the green light is illuminated. If the gas mixture reaches or surpasses either the high or the low alarm set points, as measured by the gas analyzer, the green light will turn off, the red light will flash and the horn will sound. Pushing the horn silence pushbutton on the gas analyzer will silence the horn and the red light will continue to flash. When the gas mixture returns to normal the Light Tower Alarm System will automatically reset. The red flashing light will turn off and the green light will be illuminated.
